Owners, Frankie and Sunny, have the highest level of experience in the industry and have assembled a team of artists who love making people feel beautiful.

Gisoo offers a relaxing atmosphere and a team of incredibly talented artists. Our goal is to develop long-term relationships with our clients and to bring out the best in the look that they desire.

The Salon is located in the historic Dilworth neighborhood, which is convenient to Myers Park, SouthPark and Uptown.

About the Owners

“After coming from a family of successful stylists, I felt it was only natural to follow in those footsteps. As a child, I remember my mom doing up-dos, razor cuts, using big sets of rollers, and finishing it all with the very best products.”

Gisoo was founded by husband and wife team, Frankie Noor and Sunny Mazandarani.

Sunny, Owner and Artistic Creative Designer, has spent a lifetime making people look and feel their very best. A commitment early on to education and training has kept Sunny on top of her game throughout her very successful career. She has trained among some of the industry’s best artists and directors including the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Miami and Los Angeles, platinum level creative directors at Aveda, and with other well-known top-level artists in the industry. She has worked fashion shows in Milan, New York, and Miami and has even done a make-over episode on TLC. She has had some amazing experiences throughout her career. Her passion these days comes from sharing her skills with up and coming young artists whose energy and creativity continue to inspire her own.

Frankie, Owner and Director of Operations, brings a successful career in business management to the operations of Gisoo Salon. He warmly handles correspondence between the Salon and guests and makes sure that all guests receive the highest level of customer service.

Gisoo is an ancient Persian word for “woman’s hair.”

Our Salon Policies

Gisoo Salon does not accept gratuity on credit cards. For your convenience we are able to offer cash back on DEBIT card purchases.
If you are 15 minutes or later to your scheduled appointment, you may be asked to reschedule.

We are happy to accept returns and exchanges for Aveda products within 2 weeks of purchase and when accompanied by a receipt.

All jewelry sales are final and professional equipment is covered by manufacturer's warranties.

Each customer is requested to change into a salon smock or gown before receiving a chemical service. If you choose to remain in your own attire, Gisoo Salon cannot be held responsible for damages to clothing.

We cordially request that you refrain from bringing your children along on your visit. We not only think this is an unsafe environmnet for children, but it also detracts from the tranquil experiance we wish to provide for our guests.

If you are not satisfied with your hair service please contact Gisoo Salon within 72 hours from your appointment.
We are happy to schedule another appointment with the same service provider to correct the matter.
The appointment must be completed within 7 day of your original appointment.
If you would prefer to see more Senior Service Provider to correct the original service, you would only be obligated to pay for the service level price difference. 

Gisoo Salon does not accept responsibility for improper maintenance of any hair service. We suggest the exclusive use of Aveda products. Ask your designer for proper recommendations.

Gift Card Policy

Gift cards are not transferrable, may not be returned, may not be redeemed for cash, or used to purchase another gift card. Service prices are subject to change. Gisoo Salon is not responsible for lost or stolen cards.
